Sir Nick Faldo

For a time in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, Nick Faldo was considered the best golfer in the world. He won six major championships, more than any other player at the time. In the 90’s, Faldo dedicated himself to playing on the PGA tour—where he won the 1996 Masters. Faldo Designs has designed or remodeled dozens of golf courses including Chart Hills Golf Club (Kent, England), Sporting Club Berlin, Ocean Dunes (Vietnam), and Emirates Golf Club (Dubai). Faldo was commissioned to design the course at the Wilderness Club and considers it one of his favorite courses. “On my first visit, I was - like most people - awed by the rugged landscape and the pure, out-of-proportion grandeur of this place,” says Nick Faldo.
